Bett Awards 2015, 21st January 2015, bett powering learning

We are pleased to announce a brand new category for the Bett Awards which will be awarded to the most innovative individual, team or company in the past year.

The ICT Innovator of the Year category will differ from others in that submissions will be made via a 2 minute YouTube video from which the judges will then select the finalists. The best 10 entries will be made viewable on this from November 2014 and the winner announced and the video played at the Awards ceremony on 21st January at the Brewery.

Whether you have already entered the Bett Awards or not, this is a great chance to demonstrate your innovation and the price for entry is just £95 per video.

The deadline for the majority of the other Bett Awards 2015 categories has now closed, however we are still accepting late entries for the following categories until the end of this month:

Entry into the Bett Exhibition Stand of the Year remains open until 5th December 2014.

Considered by many as the most esteemed accolade in the industry, the Bett Awards provide a showcase of resources and companies that seek to provide educators with the information, ideas and inspiration that are fundamental to the learning process.

BESA will again act as chair of judges, overseeing the impartiality and fairness of the robust, two-stage judging process by a panel of experienced educational professionals. Entries will be assessed on specific criteria, including; design, cost-effectiveness, accessibility, innovation, enabling effective learning, and supporting learning beyond the classroom. The cost per entry is £175 (+VAT) for BESA members, and £195 (+VAT) for non members.

The awards form an integral part of Bett each year, the world’s leading showcase of education technology solutions. The winners are seen to have excelled in ICT provision and support for nurseries, schools, colleges and special schools alike with a clear focus on what works in the classroom. Each year, the awards endeavour to recognise, reward and promote this excellence.
